Today marks the first day of National Small Business Week!
Small businesses create local jobs, grow our economy, and are essential to building strong communities. Especially in an area like District 74, small businesses truly are the backbone of our economy.
In our state, new businesses are given incentives such as tax breaks, but local and small businesses are often forgotten. Let’s work to mend that by ensuring we support small and local businesses in Illinois, not just this week, but every week!
