Thank you to Sarah Lewis, Founder and Clinical Director of the Autism Center of Sauk Valley, for welcoming me to your facility this week! Behavioral healthcare is increasingly limited in our area. Thankfully, facilities like this one are working hard to fill that gap and make care more accessible for the autistic community here in the Sauk Valley!

I had the chance to stop by the Lee County Health Department for a tour of their facility and to speak with their staff. It was a great opportunity to learn more about local public health initiatives and how I can help!

I recently toured a local gun shop, owned by John and Mary Houghtby. John welcomed me into the store for a tour and a discussion about legislation that affects his business. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me!

I spoke at a press conference in Mendota announcing $1.2 million in Brownfields Grant funding to repurpose an old dry cleaner into a new space for the community! This is a huge win for the area and I look forward to seeing how they transform and utilize this new space!

We had a full house at Shabbona Cafe for my Coffee & Conversation event! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat and support this great local business.

I met with the Superintendent of Paw Paw schools, Jennifer Warrenfelz. She told me more about the great work Paw Paw schools are doing and the ways in which I can help educators across Illinois. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me!

I recently attended the Blooming on the Rock annual fundraiser for the Rock River Garden Club. Thank you to everyone who came out in support of this great local organization!

Congratulations to Luna (Salt 251) in Rochelle on your grand opening! We are thrilled to welcome you to our community!

What a great turnout for our shred event with Self Help in Sterling! It was great to speak with constituents while offering a service to our community.

I toured 7:24 Fitness on the Rock in Rock Falls with owner Nick Pepper. I spoke with Nick about what he and his team do here and how I can help local businesses like his succeed in Illinois!
