Legislative Updates from Rep. Fritts

I am incredibly honored to receive the Outstanding Freshman of the Year award from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to continuing working alongside the chamber to foster economic development and make Illinois a place where businesses and families thrive.

It is truly an honor to receive a perfect voting score from the NFIB, an organization that advocates on behalf of small businesses across the nation. Illinois businesses are suffocating under the increasing pressure of regulations and tax hikes. We need to address this critical issue by passing pro-business legislation that will attract businesses and families back to Illinois. I look forward to continuing my fight alongside the NFIB for common-sense, pro-business legislation down in Springfield.

I am thrilled to offer my second annual Hunter Safety Course this September! With hunting season right around the corner, I want to offer my constituents a way to learn more about how to keep themselves and others safe while enjoying the outdoors.

The event will take place at the Rochelle Masonic Lodge located at 500 Lincoln Highway, Rochelle. Reservations are required and spots are limited. To secure your spot, contact my office at 815-561-3690.

During my time touring the 74th District, I’ve heard from many constituents and organizations who want to support our local communities but don’t know where to start. It was an honor to attend the ceremony at the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office recognizing the three deputies who were shot in the line of duty in June. Deputies Jason Ketter, Tad Dominski, and Tyler Carls are all heroes and I am truly thankful for their quick action, bravery, and dedication to protecting our community.

A great Coffee & Conversation event earlier this week at A’s Kitchen in Rock Falls! It’s always a pleasure to speak with constituents about efforts to improve our community at home and down in Springfield.
