Legislative Updates from Rep. Fritts

I am excited to attend the upcoming Illinois Soybean Growers 2024 Farm Business Summit on Tuesday, December 17th, alongside my colleague State Senator Andrew Chesney! We will be giving a legislative update and discussing key legislation for our soybean growers. For more information, click here

It was Small Business Day for the Leadership Academy, a monthly series hosted by the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce. Participants toured several small businesses in the area and learned more about what it takes to start, own, and run a small business. Thanks to my staff for attending this series!

My office dropped off donations at Prescott Brothers Ford, Inc. for the Two-Ton Food Drive, hosted by 102.3 The Coyote. All donations go directly to the Rochelle Christian Food Pantry to feed families in need in our community. Thank you to everyone who coordinated and donated to this food drive!

Thank you to Rochelle Middle School for hosting me as Principal for the Day! It was a pleasure to meet with students, teachers, and faculty and learn more about the work they do.

I was Principal for a Day at the Kishwaukee Education Consortium in Malta. It was great to see the hands-on experience these students receive to prepare them for the workforce. Thank you for having me!

During my time touring the 74th District, I’ve heard from many constituents and organizations who want to support our local communities but don’t know where to start. To meet this need, I am proud to introduce my new ‘Community Calendar’ on my official state website! Here, residents can view upcoming community events in one streamlined location.

Please note that as state ethics laws apply to this site, event restrictions apply. For-profit, political, or personal events will not be posted. Final decisions on which events are allowed are made at the discretion of the Office of Rep. Fritts.
