I proudly joined my House Republican colleagues in calling for an investigation into State Representative Carol Ammons after serious allegations of misconduct surfaced last week. Our petition formally requested the creation of a Special Investigating Committee to review Rep. Ammons following her indictment on multiple counts of wire fraud and one count of making a false statement to the FBI.
Enough is enough. Illinois families have watched too many public officials abuse the trust placed in them, and taxpayers deserve a full, independent review of these serious allegations.
It’s time for real transparency and accountability in state government, and I will continue fighting for both in Springfield.
