Do you know of a teacher that deserves recognition for their work? Nominations for Rep. Fritts’ 2026 Educator of the Year Award are now open! This annual award recognizes one exemplary educator in the 74th District for their hard work and dedication to education. Nominations are due on May 18th, 2026.

Nominees must be full-time teachers who work at a school in the 74th District. Previous winners are not eligible. Teachers at both private and public schools are eligible.
